Edu  Camacho

Born in Barcelona, 1980, in the boom of comic-books, cartoons and videogames. Since I was kid I grew up with a pencil in the right hand, obsessed with drawing and felt in love with the visual culture. By the time i quickly felt the need to overcome the limits imposed by the paper. Studied fine arts in Terrassa, at the same time studied illustration in a private academy, and, past a few years a bit of graphic design in “Escola Illa”. During these years I came up and experimenting my personal language. With the years, and disenchanted with the academic formation, finally was able to make and consolidate a personal style that combines my love to geometric and abstract art with the powerful compositions and patterns of graphic design, and the freshness and new ideas of street art. Actually, my work is a mix between shapes, space and color, playing with tensions and compositions, but always in constantly changing.
